Seend: Holy Cross

High Street Seend Melksham

http://www.wellspringsbenefice.co.uk

The Wellsprings Benefice was formed in November 2017 from the former parishes of Seend, Bulkington and Poulshot and joining with the parishes of Potterne, Worton and Marston to form the new Benefice, which is set within stunning rolling Wiltshire countryside.

Our area is noted for its many springs and wells which remind us of scriptural references to the "living water" we find in Jesus Christ.

Our parishes are situated adjacent to the market town of Devizes. We are surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty mainly given over to farmland and unspoiled chalk downland which is rich in wildlife, history and archaeology.

Our five churches are served by a Team Rector, an Associate House for duty priest, a Licensed Lay Minister, and a number of other clergy and licensed laity, together with the Churchwardens and Parochial Church Councils.
